Exceptional property, modern ,clean & ideally located. Positive: Perfectly located property that was exceptionally clean, modern & very well equipped. We would definitely recommend Shawwood Estate to anyone planning a visit to Mudgee.

Shawwood Estate was exactly what my old dog Charley and I needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt ourselves relax. The outlook is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and spectacular sunsets each evening which is an easy walk up the hill to look across the valley. The interiors have been thoughtfully designed, with every detail feeling considered, stylish and welcoming. What really stood out was the level of care from the hosts. Every email was so helpful, especially the fantastic list of local places to visit, including plenty of dog-friendly recommendations. It’s clear they genuinely want their guests to enjoy the region and have the best possible stay. I also ordered the cheese platter, and it was absolutely delicious and incredible value. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon overlooking the countryside with a glass of wine. Thank you for creating such a special place. From one lady and her old dog, thank you for giving us a road trip that felt like old times. It’s a trip I’ll always remember, and I hope we’ll be back again.
